Hey guys, I know I haven't been on here lately.  I've been so busy and my senior year is about to start so I have to worry about college apps and all that fun stuff. Nevertheless, there's a topic I feel is worthy of some discussion.  Lately, with all the advances in technology and all the new reality tv shows, it seems that people are losing their sense of creativity.  I used to love browsing through the deviantart home page to look at everyone's beautiful paintings or poetry.  Now, whenever I visit, I don't see anything except overused themes and lame photographs; I almost never see any literary works.  I don't know why, but it seems like t

So I've recently discovered this uberly-talented singer/songwriter on Youtube who is absolutely amazing and does not need to tweak her vocals to produce a nice sound.  Also her songs are creative and catchy. Sooooo I guess I feel inspired and motivated.  And it's always been a dream of mine to write a song but well 1) I'm a horrible singer.  2) I've tried writing music...didn't turn out too well.  Also...well I have that problem that once I hear/see someone else's work/ideas, they're all I can think of thus I'm incapable of coming up with my own melody and whatnot.   But I thought that it'd be neat to give some of my poems music...so yeah..
